Cisco System created special blockchain center in Singapore
The technology company wants to present the best face of the digital transformation of the world for customers, allies, industries, among others
The technological Cisco Systems created its own development center in Singapore in order to “capitalize on the opportunity for growth and digital transformation”.
The head of technology of Cisco, Dave Ward, was in charge of inaugurating the center that will be in charge of presenting the best face of digital transformation for clients, allies, industries, among others.
In this center will be presented the Rotterdam project. It is a plan to apply the technology in the automation of port operations, including light vehicles, cargo, rails and water levels, by 2023.
Ward said that this project could be used for other developing ports in Singapore and Thailand, countries in which blockchain technology and fintech companies have a high demand.
Cisco is dedicated to cybersecurity. This center will be dedicated to work hand in hand with governments, institutions and universities to improve this area within Singapore.
