Bitwise ensures that 95% of cryptocurrencies will disappear

The global director of investigations of the company Bitwise Asset Management, Matt Hougan ensured that in the future a large part of the cryptocurrencies of the world will disappear.

In an interview conducted by the Bloomberg website, the president of ETF.com also indicated that at least 95% of two thousand cryptocurrencies that currently exist “are destined to die”.

“I think there are 2,000 cryptocurrencies, 95% of them are useless and they will suffer a painful death. The sooner it happens, the better”, Hougan said.

In spite of giving this prognosis he assured that the “death of this cryptocurrency” will serve “for the birth of new projects of great utility”.

“But from those ashes, if they call them ashes, I mean that cryptocurrencies increased 300% in the last two years, so that’s ashes. They are good ashes. But from those ashes, I believe that important things will be merged. Like the dot com ashes emerged Amazon, Google, Facebook, among others”, he said.
