Spotify gives a Google Home Mini
Google and Spotify announce that as of November 1st, they will give away a Google Home Mini to families that are subscribed under the Premium for Family plan
The war of intelligent speakers has reached a new level of competition and is currently in the limelight. There are many alternatives in the market and all companies struggle to get a place within each home. Thus Google is not far behind and recently launched the Google Home Mini.
Under that premise, the United States is one of the most fought-over territories and now Google has planned a strange but very attractive strategy together with Spotify to win the battle.
Through an official statement the company reveals that from November 1st they will give away a Google Home Mini, to all the families that are subscribed under a Premium for Family plan.
Spotify’s business director, Alex Norström, expresses his enthusiasm for partnering with Google to bring the magic of the voice to Spotify Premium subscribers. Without a doubt, sharing the music you love with the people you love is really nice.
The modality of the Premium for Family platform allows five members of a family, under the same domicile, to have access to the full version of Spotify, all for a reduced fee. And if that were not enough, now they will have a Google Home Mini for free. For the moment, the promotion only applies to the United States but could be reproduced in other countries.
