President Emmanuel Macron highlighted a series of measures, where there is the provision of 300,000 million euros to protect companies

French President Emmanuel Macron announced a series of measures that will seek to mitigate the consequences of the coronavirus epidemic on the economy.

During an address, the president stressed that 300,000 million euros will be available to protect the companies that make life in France. “None of them should go bankrupt due to the coronavirus”.

On the other hand, the State will assume the bank credits contracted, as well as the payments of taxes and social contributions, electricity bills, water, gas and rent payments will be suspended.

As for hotels and taxis, they will be at the service of the needs of health efforts, that is, France will pay these to be at the disposal of the State.

At the political level, all pending reforms are suspended, starting with the very controversial pension reform and the one that was going to restrict unemployment benefits. The Government will be obligated to dedicate itself exclusively to combating the coronavirus.
