Ripple and a Chinese institute join for a research program

The plan is to award scholarships for the study of blockchain technology for outstanding Chinese graduates in 2019

Ripple announced the partnership with one of the leading universities in China to start a research program covering the blokchain technology.

This is how the Fintech Research Institute (Thuifr) joined the startup to launch a Blockchain Research Scholarship Program (BRSP) for outstanding Chinese graduates in 2019.

The Director of International Cooperation and Development of the University, said: “BRSP aims to provide students with a comprehensive view of the latest international regulations on blockchain technology, and most importantly, I think this program would help with their future research or career in the field of blockchain technology.”

For his part, the vice president of global operations of Ripple, Eric van Miltenburg indicated that the plan of this program is “to provide students with opportunities in blockchain research, in line with that of the Blockchain Research Initiative of the University of Ripple; we are delighted to support THUIFR in this effort and look forward to its launch.
