The Taiwanese company HTC has revealed its plans for the design of a new smartphone based on blockchain technology for transactions and cryptocurrency storage. The Exodus, based on Android platform, will have its own universal wallet and allow multiple protocols, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Lightning Network and Dfinity.
HTC phones will work as nodes in the blockchain, offering a secure and transparent system to customers who want to venture into the universe of cryptocurrencies. Phil Chen, in charge of the project and with extensive experience at HTC, indicated that soon they will announce new strategic alliances to diversify their offer.
