Mexico launches national laboratory for blockchain and 4.0 industry

The project aims to provide services and advice to companies related to digital transformation

As reported by the Mexican news channel, eSemanal, the Central American country launched a National Laboratory of  4.0 Industry and blockchain (LANIB) with the aim of providing services and advice to companies.

The CII LANIB president, Guadalupe Sánchez, explains that one of the main objectives of the Laboratory is to support companies to boost competitiveness and create new solutions. “With this center, ICT companies are given the opportunity to test and demonstrate how technology can support all kinds of companies in their projects.”

Among the services offered by the laboratory are: consulting in 4.0 industry for projects related to digital transformation and higher education 4.0 services, where they will be in charge of bringing a new vision with the purpose of realigning students, managers, teachers, study plans and programs.

Promoting an entrepreneurial and innovation culture is another objective of this plan to enable human capital to be trained and technology projects to achieve success by supporting the competencies and skills that help them implement measures.

For Ricardo Medina, specialist and advisor in applied technology, “the accelerated development occurs through innovation and the support provided to prepare human capital. However, it is also necessary to carry out a diagnosis of the company.”
