Ripple partners with charity foundation Raising Malawi
The platform announced the partnership with the non-profit foundation of singer Madonna to help children and young people in Africa
Ripple joined Madonna’s campaign to help Malawi’s orphans through the nonprofit foundation she runs called Raising Malawi.
The cryptocurrency startup announced this Monday, July 30, its association with the queen of pop in such a laudable cause. It is not the first time that Ripple gets involved in charity actions, since it has already made donations to institutions around the world.
Malawi is among the countries with the highest poverty rate. Its children and youngsters are directly affected by diseases such as AIDS. Orphans are the most vulnerable.
Ripple joins Madonna’s fight through her nonprofit foundation that has opened orphanages in the country for proper assistance to the little ones who need it most.
The singer, who will celebrate her 61th birthday on August 16, has indicated that the partnership with Ripple to help the children of Malawi is the best gift she can receive.
