Berlin inaugurated a cryptocurrency art gallery
The different artistic works are represented under the name of "Proof of Work", which will be available in Germany until December 21st of this year
This weekend, the city of Berlin attended the opening of an art gallery called “Proof of Work“, which is focused on cryptocurrencies.
In this presentation, which will run until December 21st, will be artistic pieces that were made by more than 19 artists from around the world.
One of the works that has most attracted the attention of visitors is the one called “Chaos Machine“, which is constituted by a set of discs that, by means of artifacts, burns a series of bills, representing the “destruction of the banknote symbol that the new technology is trying to replace”.
This is not the first time that the cryptocurrency and blockchain reach the world of art or the show. Weeks ago it was learned that the actor Kurt Russell is working on a film that will be called “Crypto” and will come out in 2019.
Cryptocurrencies ecosystem is undoubtedly what is most resonating in the world today, more and more aspects of daily life are adding to this new economy.
