Fintech Venezuela, new technologies for the financial system in the country

The Venezuelan Fintech Society promotes technological training in various areas of social exchange

One of the transversal axes of the new economy is derived from this non-profit organization that seeks to promote the ecosystem in the country. María Elena Machado, founder and promoter of the Venezuelan Society of Fintech said in an interview with DobleLlave that the intention is to create a technological culture in the population, making Fintech Venezuela as a financial services platform through technologies.

Machado said that the integration of various actors, private companies and regulatory bodies in the area, has allowed them to join efforts to train new entrepreneurs, showing this initiative not only as a platform for training but also for integration.

The approach with various companies, as well as both public and private regulatory bodies, has allowed the design of innovative proposals in the various areas of social exchange, aimed at optimizing the processes of FinTech Venezuela.

This initiative arose after numerous meetings held at the Institute of Higher Studies of Administration, called IESA Fintech, represented by the main technology actors in Venezuela in order to promote new payment alternatives, tax collection methods as well as continue strengthening management and interaction with customers.

With the intention of making visible the advances that have been made in Venezuela in technological matters, Venezuelan Society of Fintech has requested the Ibero-American Alliance of Fintech, sponsored by Mexico, Spain, Dominican Republic, Colombia, among others, to be part of this Leading Association in the development of the ecosystem at international level.

Machado highlights the importance of women leading role in promoting a new ecosystem linked to technology and finance. Taking as reference recognized companies such as Yahoo and Google, the founder and promoter describes the female presence as responsible for facilitating and bringing services to the user through technology.
