University of Tokyo opened a blockchain course

This initiative was possible thanks to the donation of 800 thousand dollars received by the Ethereum Foundation and other institutions

After the support of several institutions such as the Ethereum Foundation, the Sumimoto Mitsui Bank and SMBC, the University of Tokyo began to teach courses related to blockchain technology.

All this was possible thanks to the contribution of 800 thousand dollars provided by the aforementioned institutions.

The name of this course is “Blockchain Innovation Donation Course“, and it started on November 1st. Its duration will be three years and the Engineering School of the Asian university is responsible for the classes.

The institution aims to guide students to the use of the best business techniques for fintech information processing and blockchain technology.

The lessons will consist of theoretical and practical classes, and communications and technological information will be established based on blockchain business models.
