iPad users will soon have the WhatsApp version on their devices after the beta launch has been confirmed.
It is not a rumor, the years of waiting for the version of WhatsApp for iPad are over, as details of the work on the native application for these devices were released.
At the beginning of last year, WhatsApp officials mentioned the issue. However, it is now that multi-device support is confirmed for linking the iPad to an existing account.
The details provided to the press indicate that within the beta for iOS (TestFlight) users have the possibility of testing the messaging application for iPad. Of course, it is essential to link the tablet to an iPhone so that it can function as a secondary device.
The WaBetaInfo portal notes that “both the iPad application and the companion mode to link this tablet are in beta, which means that not all functions are available, and that some may work with restrictions.”
Until now, the way to use WhatsApp on iPad was through the web version. The current beta gives the opportunity to test a native application, adapted to iPadOS.
