IBM, Citibank and Ubisoft join blockchain technology

The three giants joined the Tribe Accelerator platform to continue strengthening the evolution of the blockchain technology

The new commercial partners are the IT giant IBM, the banking institution Citibank and the video game development giant UbiSoft. They have joined the blockchain accelerator Tribe Accelerator, based in Singapore, to offer innovations in the markets, get into the existing business models and become ready-to-use products for end users.

According to a report issued by Tribe Accelerator, the company seeks to connect blockchain startups in its growth stage with large corporations. Since its launch last year, the program has been supported by government and corporate partners, including insurance giant AXA, BMW Group Asia, Intel, the R3n blockchain business platform, among others.

With the first group of startpus that completed its program in July of this year, it was possible to raise more than 12.2 million dollars in 3 months, which is considered a success as rated by the managing partner of Tribe Accelerator, Ng Yi Ming, “The success of the first court far exceeded our initial expectations. By ensuring that all parties are aligned with a common goal, this has greatly reduced information overlays and accelerated the integration of the solution.”

The list of new participating companies is extensive and includes the password and digital identity management firm backed by Binance, Torus, the Bluzelle distributed database service, the WhiteCoat healthcare company, data and digital identity management platform AID Tech and the Aqilliz customer loyalty management platform.

Carl Wegner, CEO of the software company R3 believes that “Tribe Accelerator has demonstrated its ability to solve real business problems in complex and highly regulated markets, and has been able to identify tangible use cases for blockchain.”
