EOSIO Dawn 4.0, the new of EOS

The project includes several new features such as a RAM allocation model, an update of the DPOS irreversible block algorithm and Exchange Integration Support

A month after launching Dawn 3.0, EOS launched EOSIO Dawn 4.0, a network focused on software stability and cleanliness.

The project includes several new features and some patches for the existing ones, as it is now, RAM allocation model, increased communication between block chains, update of the latest DPOS irreversible block algorithm and Exchange integration support.

The developers solved with some changes the problems that arose when dealing with time-based operations. In addition, they now allow the measurement of the time elapsed within the “smart contracts”.

Now, the updated DPOS Irreversible Blocks algorithm depends on the last irreversible block of DPOS [LIB] to ensure the result. The cost associated with any failure of LIB and the difficulty in solving it is much greater once the IBC is introduced.

The EOS team mentioned that they are quite confident about the release of Dawn 4.0 and the code has been cleaned up significantly, which can mean a big improvement in the software’s balance sheets.
