The crypto browser works with a Japanese e-sports team and a famous k-pop group to launch a limited edition of their browser in Japan

The well-known cryptocurrency-powered browser Brave recently announced that it is working on the launch of an ambitious project to achieve a limited edition browser exclusive to Japan.

The platform works in conjunction with the Korean pop group BTS and Rush Gaming on a “limited edition of their browser” for residents of the Asian country.

According to a publication in the Japanese newspaper Nikkei, it was learned that Brave Browser and BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, “have developed an exclusive browser for users in Japan.” This is the first known collaborative initiative that occurs between a privacy-focused platform like Brave and a K-pop band.

The publication stresses that the partnership between the two working groups is focused on “finding a new point of contact” between artists of the K-pop genre and their fans. Regarding the limited edition browser, it has been indicated that users will have the opportunity to earn points by viewing ads to support the e-sports team, Rush Gaming.
