Microsoft solves serious failure presented by Windows 10

This problem had been reported days ago by the National Security Agency of the United States, about a supposed tool to hack

The National Security Agency (NSA) of the United States alerted Microsoft of the presence of a failure in the Windows 10 operating system that could become a tool to hack, a problem that the company has already corrected with the distribution of a security patch.

The NSA is an intelligence agency of the US Government. This agency is responsible for everything related to the defense of information security, and normally uses different piracy tools to access the information of its adversaries.

As they point out from the Washington Post, that the NSA warned Microsoft indicated a “huge change” in the approach of the agency, since they put computer security before their interest, with the creation of spy tools that took advantage of it.

This vulnerability is an error in the code of the computer that affects the systems that work with Windows 10 and that could expose the users to important security breaches or to be monitored, according to sources familiar with this matter. The Krebs on Security portal confirms the existence of this “extraordinarily serious security vulnerability”, as it has described it.

This discovery was related to a past failure that the NSA itself used to create the Eternal Blue tool, which worked on all versions of Windows. According to Krebs on Security, the technology company has started distributing the patch on Tuesday, after correcting the ruling previously for the US military and other clients that manage the Internet infrastructure keys.
