Google Hotel Ads leads the hotel reservation segment
Hotels have experienced a 77% increase in their sales through digital channels. The tool of Google concentrates 65% of the reservations of the clients in the tourist sector
The tourism industry has a technological ally for hotel searches and online reservations. This is Google, through tools such as Google Hotel Ads, which allows customers to book the room of their choice through the Internet.
A study conducted by the company Roiback specialized in the area concluded that currently, a high percentage of accommodation reservations are made through metasearch engines. In this sense, Google Hotel Ads has allowed hotels an increase in sales of 70%. The reserves come mostly from Spain, the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Colombia, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal.
The use of technologies allows speed in transactions, security, transparency and time savings. Today, travelers can conduct searches, bookings, payments from the comfort of home or office. They do not need to travel to a travel agency, bank or even the airline counter at the airport to obtain a ticket, as it is issued in electronic format.
Google Hotel Ads is located above Trivago and Tripadvisor, with 65% in the online booking segment. According to the Roiback study, 75% of travelers book packages, flights and hotels for their holidays via Internet.
For its part, Google Ads remains the main marketing channel in various industries, not only in the field of tourism. Felipe Bravo, digital marketing manager of Roiback, proposes a combination of Google Ads and Google Hotel Ads to obtain optimal results.
