Switzerland will have its cryptocurrency bank in 2019

SEBA Crypto AG will have 103 million dollars for the creation of this European financial institution

The Swiss startup SEBA Crypto AG announced that it will have 103 million dollars for the creation of a bank dedicated to the use of cryptocurrencies.

Those responsible for directing this project are the bankers of the UBS, Guido Buehler and Andreas Amschwand, who are in the process of obtaining a license from FINMA.

The Reuters website stated that if they finally manage to obtain authorization, this institution would work with the exchange of cryptocurrencies, just as it could operate with investments from other institutions.

The Swiss project aims to be a channel of communication between traditional institutions and companies that live on digital assets, as well as providing different types of services related to Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs).

“In Switzerland, we share a very serious commitment with many authorities to establish and ensure a comprehensive regulatory environment. We want cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology to enjoy this environment and have a stable growth,” said the president of the entity Amschwand.

It is important to emphasize that the first headquarters of this new company will be located in Zurich, although in a year already the operations would be taken to other regions of the country.
