Kodak launched its own cryptocurrency

The US company, Kodak, announced that it has formed a partnership with Wenn Digital to launch a cryptocurrency on the blockchain platform that “will allow photographers and agencies to have greater control over the ownership rights of their images.”

KodakCoin will be the name of this currency, while KodakOne will be the platform where this currency will be available.

“Blockchain and cryptocurrencies are, for many, buzzwords,” explains the Kodak CEO, “but for photographers who have had a hard time managing their work, these words are key to solving what seemed to have no solution.”

The KodakCoin begun operations on January 31, 2018 and is only available in the United States, Canada and England, but it is expected to reach other countries.
