Most AI companies do not use such technology
A report by MMC ensures that at least 40% of companies do not bet on Artificial Intelligence within their portfolio of services and products
A study conducted by the venture capital firm MMC concluded that 40% of companies that develop solutions with Artificial Intelligence do not bet on the use of this technology internally.
This data was obtained through a survey of 2,830 organizations in 13 countries of the European Union, which examined the “activities, focus and funding” of each company to reach this surprising conclusion.
“To be exact, AI companies get between 15% and 50% more funding than competitors who do not boast of this technology.” It is ironic since if these companies really used artificial intelligence they would benefit significantly from their possibilities,” says the report.
This leads to the conclusion that one in 12 new companies is committed to the use of Artificial Intelligence as part of their products or services.
However, according to the report the largest companies show a minor use of Artificial Intelligence. Indeed, only 12% of large companies use AI applications in their businesses when compared to 4% in the previous year.
