The Chinese technology company, Xiaomi announced the launch of the first mobile device that will integrate a folding screen by two different points.
Lin Bin, co-founder and president of the company, posted a video on the web Weibo (a network similar to Twitter), which shows the characteristics of this new mobile device.
“It will be the first doubly foldable mobile phone in the world. It is a perfect combination of experience using tablets and mobile phones, it is practical and beautiful. If the public likes it, we will produce it on a large scale“, said Bin.
Currently, companies in China are struggling to be pioneers in innovation in terms of folding screens.
Royole, a firm not too well known outside the country, presented the first smartphone with folding screen of the world on January 9th in the framework of the prestigious CES technology fair in Las Vegas (United States).
