Venezuela installs its first crypto ATM

The ATM will be located one of the Traki stores and will allow the purchase of bitcoin and Dash cryptocurrencies

The first cryptocurrency ATM located in the Venezuelan capital will start operations on October 4 within the facilities of Traki El Recreo, one of the largest chain stores in the Caribbean country in Caracas.

According to the press release provided by the store, this ATM will allow the purchase of bitcoin and dash digital currencies, supporting its operations by the “Veinte Venezuela” Exchange that refers to an exchange based in the South American nation duly registered in the regulatory superintendence of SUNACRIP.

Although there is already a cryptoactive cashier located in the state of Táchira, a western country, it is known that this ATM was a point of sale developed by Panda BTM, known as a portable device that processes purchase and sale of crypto assets in cash. Although this point of sale allows users to acquire bitcoin, bitcoin cash and dash, it is not a traditional cashier as understood within the global cryptocurrency market.

It can be said that the Veinte Venezuela ATM is the only one in the country that has exclusive features of an ATM, designed for cryptocurrencies, although ATM Radar is considered the second one in the country.
