Venezuela and Iran sign six agreements in strategic areas of development

Both nations signed six memorandums of understanding to promote projects in areas such as education, science, technology, health and petrochemicals, among others

The representatives of Venezuela and Iran signed six memorandums of understanding for the promotion of projects in strategic areas such as science, technology and health, during the closing of the Iran-Venezuela High Level Mixed Commission.

It was learned that both nations signed these agreements with a focus on projects for sectors such as “educational training, nanotechnology, biotechnology, petrochemicals, probiotics, dosimetry, radiology, fiber optics, social data analysis, and design of scientific-technological systems.”

This was stated by the Venezuelan Ministry of Science and Technology on its website, citing the event that took place in Caracas between the two countries, from November 13 to 15.

Gabriela Jiménez, Venezuelan Minister of Science and Technology, highlighted the opportunity for the representatives of Venezuela and Iran to exchange views on key issues for the development and integration of both peoples.
