South Korean government will allow cryptocurrency exchanges

The FSC assured that the banks will not present any kind of obstacles in terms of the operation of this type of companies

The head of the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of South Korea, said that all platforms dedicated to providing services in cryptocurrencies will not be slowed down by the banking institutions.

This information was provided by the president of the FSC, Choi Jon-Ku, who also explained that the exchanges should also be governed by the appropriate policies that go against money laundering.

This support will now be presented by financial institutions following the South Korean government’s decision to impose stricter policies with cryptocurrency exchanges, with the aim of preventing financial crimes from arising.

Jong-Ku emphasized that with the proper compliance with the regulatory measures established by the government, as well as the security policies established by the exchanges such as money laundering, there would not be any problems related to the accounts in banking institutions.
