Wozniak: “Governments will not let the btc outperform the fiat”

The co-founder of Apple believes that cryptocurrencies will not replace conventional money, since countries will not allow it

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak recently spoke about bitcoin and the possibility of cryptocurrency to position itself above fiat money.

Wozniak believes that this “will not be possible” supporting his hypothesis that governments will not relinquish  the power to control fiat money.

The co-founder of Apple also indicated that governments are prepared to act when bitcoin becomes “big and significant” in the economy.

“Well, it’s as if they declares illegal to have gold, but over time it will be limited once it is strong and significant enough“, Wozniak said.

On the other hand, he made a complaint regarding the work of the authorities in the search for information of the companies dedicated to the development of wallets as the case of Coinbase. The objective is to force users to pay a percentage of the profits obtained.
