The store called Clobig Stores is aimed at bringing users in Latin America closer to purchases of digital goods and services by making payments with satoshis. The team that carries out the project is based in Colombia although some of the members are located in Spain.
Javier Vargas, one of the entrepreneurs, states that the initiative came naturally due to the lack of options that Latins have to make payments with satoshis in the Hispanic market. This situation limits the daily use of bitcoin for low value transfers.
In view of the difficulty of Latin America to adopt the cryptographic ecosystem, the team decided to promote and massify the use of cryptocurrencies in the region, for which they considered that the best option was Lightning Network (In).
With the implementation of In, users will be able to efficiently and safely solve the obstacles to make purchases with satoshis. In the virtual shop they can see the elements to which they are accustomed, which include the famous and well-known shopping cart. The platform also allows payments with small amounts of bitcoins.
