Crypto.com joins the Visa network

The cryptocurrency exchange service signed a partnership with the credit card payments giant

The Crypto.com platform signed a partnership with the Visa card payment network, which will allow it to become a main member in Australia.

Through a statement, the digital assets company highlighted that the collaboration meets the line that the company sought to promote, in terms of the possibility of offering a prepaid Visa card with cryptocurrencies.

The Crypto.com Visa card is already used in more than 30 countries around the world, including the United States and Canada, as well as nations in Europe and throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Crypto.com plans to begin direct issuance of its Visa card in the country, and the company says it will use its presence in Australia to seek greater market share for its card service around the world.

Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, stated that “signing the global partnership with Visa and becoming a senior member with the global leader in digital payments affirms our commitment to accelerate the world’s transition to cryptocurrencies.”
