Instagram changes its interface to reduce the number of followers
On Instagram now the user is more important than the number of followers
Instagram has gone through many changes in recent weeks. The platform began with the cleaning of fake users and now has modified its interface to be consistent with that latest movement. Through a press release on their press site, they revealed that they are working on a new interface for their mobile application.
The new design decreases the emphasis on the number of users followed and followers, to give more weight to the profile pictures.
However, one of the news is that Instagram also seems to have taken some of Twitter’s own details, since now when the user checks the profile of a person he is following he will be able to know at the moment if that person also follows him.
This will make the process of reciprocity to build an organic community with real users much easier. The idea is, as they say, that the new interface is released in the coming weeks, so it could be released by 2019.
