Gibraltar launches its own cryptocurrency exchange

The authorities made the announcement of the release to the public this Monday, July 23

Gibraltar’s financial sector authorities reported the launch of their own cryptocurrency exchange on Monday, July 23. The GBX project thus becomes a reality to open up to the digital transactions of the new economy.

In its first stage, it will function as a multi-faceted ICO that offers three pairs of crypto to fiduciary. It’s about Bitcoin, Ethereum and its own token Rock (RKT) to USD.

The launch strengthens the economy and the financial system of Gibraltar, since it coincides with a favorable moment for the digital currencies that go to the maturity stage.

Nick Cowan, CEO of the initiative, said they expect the GBX “to host a series of leading cryptocurrencies and tokens to ensure utility for the business community.”

GBX will soon have a mobile application, which will generate greater confidence and bring comfort to the public in the short term, as well as achieving greater penetration in the market.
