Europe will increase the use of drones in the next fifteen years

It is estimated that thanks to the regulations that are currently being applied, in the next 15 years Europe will have air corridors, eight million drones, as well as airports for these and other devices

The technological advances in the matter of drones have allowed their use in strategic sectors such as security and surveillance. It is expected that in the next 15 years it will increase its use forcefully in Europe, until completing an average of seven million recreational drones and 400,000 professionals.

The continent will then have new air corridors, airports for drones and other devices that will also allow to offer new jobs.

The investment in this business is estimated at 14 million euros. Of course, the consolidation of traffic regulations and security systems will be necessary. These two sectors also involve the mobile telephony network and key players such as artificial intelligence and automation.

Apparently, during the next fifteen years Europe hopes to finally conquer the airspace, through drones supported by modern technological applications. The mobility of people and the transfer of merchandise complements this ambitious plan.

The specialists will have to attack key areas such as security, sustainability, noise threshold, privacy, necessary infrastructures for so-called “drone-airports”, supplies and electronic components, among others.
