Bitmain bought the firm Telescope
The company announced this week the acquisition of the startup that owns an open source bitcoin cash wallet
Bitmain, the cryptocurrency mining machine maker, announced the acquisition of the open source bitcoin cash wallet startup known as Telescope.
This wallet was launched at the beginning of this year in order to have instant bitcoin cash transactions. Nowadays, Telescope is able to operate with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
The head of international press and communications relations of Bitmain, Nishant Sharma, indicated that the company always seeks to be aligned with technological advances.
“The cryptocurrency portfolios integrated into the browser are a promising technology, the Telescope development team is doing a very interesting job and we look forward to working with them on the Telescope project and on future bitcoin cash projects,” Sharma said.
Bitmain owns 6% of the total bitcoin cash tokens that exist today, with an investment of 900 million dollars.
