John McAfee would be linked to a scam case

The former CEO of the cybersecurity company McAfee allegedly manipulated the stock price of MGT Capital Investments

This week it was learned that the former CEO of the cybersecurity company McAfee, John McAfee, would be linked to a scam case.

Specifically, the former CEO allegedly manipulated the value of the shares of MGT Capital Investments while he was part of the board of directors of that company.

The lawsuit was filed by Rosen Law Firm, who is representing the current and former shareholders of the company. The National Securities Market Commission (SEC) of the United States began the relevant investigation in September.

After this, the general manager of the company dedicated to bitcoin mining, Robert Ladd, resigned from his post.

On the other hand, another group of 10 investors and corporate executives, allegedly conspired over a period of several years to generate more than $ 27 million in sales of shares whose price was artificially inflated.
