Amazon accused of poaching sellers of eBay

The auction company claims that the e-commerce giant would have had contact with sellers who promote products to join their team

Last Wednesday, the company dedicated to online auctions eBay made a complaint against Amazon for allegedly having contacted the vendors of its staff.

Specifically, the e-commerce giant allegedly had contacts with those in charge of promoting products on eBay to move their offers to Amazon.

Through a statement issued in San Jose, California, eBay noted that representatives of its competitor came into contact via messaging and offered to change exhibitors.

The board assures that this action is an “illegal” practice, which requires the services and conditions of the company.

“We have found an illegal and worrying ruse on the part of Amazon, so we have asked them to put an end to this illegal activity and we will take the necessary measures to protect eBay,” the statement said.

This is not the first time something like this has happened, given that similar cases have occurred in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.
