Bitpanda gets new license for payment services
The financial technology and cryptocurrency company Bitpanda received a payment service provider license from Austria's financial regulator
The firm that operates a retail digital currency brokerage platform said the new license will allow it to expand its business model and offer new payment solutions.
It should be noted that the license to Bitpanda Payments GmbH was granted in accordance with the Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2) of the European Union.
The permit can help to reduce the existing barriers between the cryptographic ecosystem and the world of traditional finance.
The patent may allow cryptocurrencies to offer more innovative features and services that aim to make digital currencies available for use by any user.
