The bitcoin will be closer to the moon

Bitcoin will begin to be accepted as a payment method at the Great Lakes Science Center, located in Cleveland, Ohio. The museum is home to NASA's Glenn Visitor Center

Visitors can pay the entrance to the Great Lakes Science Center with cryptographic currencies. Payments can be made through the BitPay mobile application.

The adoption of the digital currency takes place weeks before the opening conference Blockland Cleveland, which will be held in the same city and will feature the participation of recognized figures of the ecosystem.

People can also pay admission to the museum in bitcoins through a mobile application that uses virtual and augmented reality, developed by the museum itself. This tool was designed for visitors to study and evaluate the work of NASA.

The Great Lakes Science Center is a museum and educational center that opened its doors in July 1996. Since 2010, it has been the headquarters of NASA’s Glenn Visitor Center. With innovation, the venue officially becomes the third museum in the United States to accept bitcoin as a method of payment.

The gallery authorities argued that accepting bitcoin is a small part of the drive to develop a blockchain ecosystem in Cleveland.
