Russian lawyers receive training on cryptocurrencies
A university, two law firms and the chambers of the Russian Parliament support the training project for lawyers in aspects related to the cryptocurrency industry
Russian lawyers have the possibility of training in the area of cryptocurrencies through the month-long program entitled “Legal basis and practice of working with cryptocurrency and blockchain projects”.
The sixth edition of the course begins on November 23rd and will cover aspects such as digital currency, ICOs, digital asset exchanges, smart contracts, mining and the implementation of ledger technologies distributed in the private and public sector in Russia.
Behind this project are the Plekhanov University of Economics, both chambers of Parliament, as well as two law firms. Legal professionals will be in contact with all aspects of the regulation of cryptocurrencies and the application of blockchain technology.
The organizers of the program have invited outstanding professors from different disciplines, as well as legal experts, academics and representatives from the business sector.
The participants of the course will be able to present their ideas and proposals to the representatives of the State Duma and the Council of the Federation, as well as the upper and lower chambers of the Russian legislature.
It will be a fruitful interaction between lawyers and legislators, as well as specialists in the legal framework for the financial technology sector that is still under development.
