Bitnovo launched support for Bitcoin Cash

The Spanish cryptocurrency platform announced that from this September 27th the customers of their Bitcard debit cards will be able to recharge them or their accounts in BCH, in addition to making payments

Customers with Bitcard debit card from the Spanish company Bitnovo enjoy this Thursday, September 27th, support for Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). The measure was taken to adapt to the current dynamics of the market where retailers increasingly accept cryptocurrencies to make purchases and payments.

In a statement, the company with a presence in 130 countries, announced that from now on customers can recharge their cards or their accounts in BCH, in addition to making payments. In this way, Bitcard or N26 account holders will have support for the rapid conversion of cryptocurrencies to fiat-euros without having to go through a bank as an intermediary.

Bitcoin Cash will be used from this date as a means of payment for the services that Bitnovo makes available to customers, such as Satellite TV from Dish.

Currently, users of the platform can make transactions in electronic currencies, use bitcoin ATMs and their prepaid cards with considerable time savings.

Roberta Quintiliano, marketing director of Bitnovo, said: “With our card we allow (users) to change bitcoin to the legal currency that the user has associated with their debit card. In this way, at any time, they can count on cash or their card thanks to the value of their cryptocurrency.”
