Salesforce will fight spam with blockchain

Thanks to the patent delivered by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the company will be able to operate with the chain of blocks

This Wednesday it was confirmed that the Salesforce company managed to obtain a patent for the development of a blockchain platform, which will be able to prevent spam.

This was confirmed by the document published by the U.S Patent and Trademarket Office (USPTO), which was in charge of granting the necessary permission for the operation.

As detailed by the creators, this system will be responsible for detecting whether an email comes from a legitimate source or not. By the time the user sends an email, a small part of it will be stored within the blockchain platform.

In case there is some type of discrepancy, the mail will go directly to the spam folder as a preventive measure

The system can “ensure that messages and files attached to those messages have not been modified during transit through a network,” the company said.
