Pundi X makes the first call through blockchain

Through the official blog of the start up it was known that the call was made from the phone XPhone, the latest device presented by the company in Bali

The cell phone assembly company Pundi X recently reported that it made the first phone call with its own blockchain technology called Function X. The call was made through the brand’s latest device, XPhone, in Bali.

This initiative is a total innovation, because it is about transforming the device into a blockchain phone, which does not require a telephone company as intermediary, thanks to the tool created by Pundi X.

Function X was designed to solve the problem of scalability faced by networks such as the well-known Ethereum, and which allows the creation of dApps (decentralized applications) to prevent them from collapsing.

The step taken by the company represents a milestone in the transformation of decentralized telecommunications, without intermediaries, secure and allowing the user to exchange images, data, videos, among others.

Pundi X uses the operating system Function X OS, based on Android OS 9.0, thanks to which users and developers will be able to exchange platforms to their needs, since Android applications are compatible.

The announcement of the first blockchain call was positive for the startup, as it boosted the price of its NPXS cryptocurrency, which achieved a revaluation of 23% within a few hours of the news.
