Twitter gives details about the blue badge
The social network gave details of what are the requirements that users must meet to obtain the blue badge
Twitter detailed what are the requirements that users of the social network must meet to receive and maintain the blue badge, one of the features included in its paid version Twitter Blue.
The company relaunched this subscription service on Monday and is available both in the web version, for $8 a month, and on iOS devices, whose users must pay $11 a month.
At the moment, this modality, which includes the popular blue badge of the social network, is only available in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, although the company plans to expand Twitter Blue to more countries soon.
Recently, the social network talked about what are the requirements that users must meet so that, once they have created and paid for their subscription and after the corresponding review by the company, they receive the blue verification.
Twitter insisted that, as it seeks to “guarantee and maintain the integrity of the platform”, it will only provide this blue badge to accounts that present a complete profile, that is, with a public name and photograph.
