This Monday starts the official sale of the petro
The National Superintendence of Cryptoactives and Related Activities (Sunacrip in Spanish) will be receiving those interested in acquiring the Venezuelan digital currency
This Monday the sale of the petro cryptocurrency officially starts at the ticket offices of the National Superintendence of Cryptoactives and Related Activities (Sunacrip).
This information was advanced by the vice president of the country’s economic area, Tareck El Aissami, at a press conference last week.
“We are going to start the sale of petros in convertible currencies and for those registered in the petro page the process is easier. Since Monday investors and the whole country can do it directly in the authorized offices of the Superintendency”, indicated El Aissami.
The government announced that from the office located in Caracas it will be possible to commercialize the state cryptoactive with other types of cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, ethereum, nem, among others.
El Aissami had announced that given the measure taken by Google with regard to the suspension of the wallets applications of around the world, the government decided to enable the official page for the download of the digital wallet.
“We have temporarily replaced those wallets so that the download is made from the main page of the petro www.petro.gob.ve. All the users that are going to buy petros must make the download from the main page where the icon will appear”, indicated the vice president of the economic area.
