The entity invested an approximate of 615,000 zloty (US $173,000) for the activity. In the same way, they plan to launch an educational web page that will provide information on “why digital currencies are not money and why cryptocurrencies are not foreign exchange or assets”.
In addition, since June of this year, the KNF will be accepting initiatives for the campaign, which will last 30 days.
Thus, Poland joins the list of governments that have spoken out against trade and investments with digital currencies, claiming that they can be risky not only due to their high volatility, but also to the growing cases associated with criminal acts.
