Etoro: 8.5% of investors in cryptocurrencies are women

A report of the firm announced that 81.76% of investors are newbies in terms of digital currencies and only 7.38% have a higher level

A report by the brokerage and investment firm Etoro revealed that only 8.5% of transactions within the cryptocurrency market correspond to women.

This study used movements made through the platform of the company between March 2017 and February 2018. The report also revealed that 81.76% of investors are newbies in terms of digital currencies and only 7.38% have a higher level in terms of these transactions.

However, this research gave the reason: one of the factors that continues to generate concern in business and investment is the gender imbalance. 91.5% of the male population against only 8.5% of female representation.

In relation to cryptocurrency preferences, most women lean towards the Ripple (XRP), while men tend to invest in Ethereum Classic (ETC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Litecoin (LTC).
