Peru will have cryptocurrency laws

A proposal that would establish cryptocurrency laws and their management in the economic market was recently presented at the congress

Recently, the “Bill of the Cryptoassets Marketing Framework Law” was presented in the National Congress of Peru, which seeks to establish laws for cryptocurrencies.

This initiative, presented by parliamentarian José Luis Avalos, also wants to apply this regulation in the operation of crypto exchange service companies.

It should be noted that within this legal framework, cryptocurrencies are not considered legal tender.

The initiative makes clear mention that in the Spanish language, the service providers of crypto-asset exchange platforms, when establishing a contractual relationship with Consumers, must disclose in a clear and written way all the material risks associated with their services.
