In June, Mexico could count on eight cryptocurrency exchange houses. The information is derived from the announcement made this Monday by Alfonso Jiménez Pérez, director of the company Amero.

The exchange houses will operate in the regulatory modality of “sandbox”. The first physical exchange “will be in Monterrey, will open at the end of June in San Pedro Garza García, we still do not have the location, they are security offices like casas de cambio”, according to Jiménez’s statements.
It is expected that the rest of the exchange offices will be installed in Los Cabos, Mazatlan, Merida, Queretaro, Cancun, Mexico City and Guadalajara.
At the same time, Amero is in the process of purchasing two companies in Estonia – Invest Factory and Global XVC – with a license to handle cryptoactives. The director of the Mexican company said: “It is the guarantee for our investors, that whatever happens in Mexico with the fintech law, with the provisions of Banxico, we will be able to operate legally worldwide with a financial base from there”.
