iOS 13 will include new location tracking warnings

The new iOS update will inform each time an application uses location information of the user and will detail what it is used for

Apple announced the launch of iOS 13, an update that was released in its beta 1 for the Apple World Developers Conference and is expected to be included in the new iPhone devices by mid-September 2019.

Regarding the issue of privacy, iOS 13 will have several new features, among which is the possibility of seeing in a more detailed way how apps use customers location information in the background.

That is, in iOS 13 there will be notifications that will be displayed as Pop-up each time an app uses the location in the background. Also, it will show a map of the location data registered by a particular tool. In the notification, each application explains what it uses the information for.

In the same way, the updates will appear frequently for the user, who will have the possibility to continue receiving this information for each app that uses location data or modify the configuration so that notifications are only activated when using a particular one.

Undoubtedly, the novelty will serve as a reminder for users to be more aware of how often  applications use information of the user’s location in the background without the person’s knowledge.
