Google facilitates web searches with a new tool

The new Scroll to Text search tool is now available on any HTML page

Google’s independent server now has a tool that makes it easier to search for content on the web and is already available on any HTML page. Actually, this system already existed but only on the AMP pages.

For users the innovative system is easier and faster when finding the answer to a query and for webmasters it is not necessary to make any kind of markup. Indeed, everything happens automatically using “Scroll to Text”.

The functionality of the tool consists of accessing a web page and by default it loads at the top, then the user scrolls to see the content and the data the user looks for will be displayed. Another modality is to mark the content with sections, as Wikipedia does.

For example, if you want to consult the biography of an artist or recognized person it can be done from the beginning or you can also directly access a specific section such as “Honorary distinctions”. This works as long as the section link is known. The only restriction is that the separation of sections is done manually.

The function works automatically. That is, neither the user has to know the URL of a section nor the webmaster has to separate the content, but the search engine itself will be in charge of finding the exact paragraph where the answer is found.
