Spain launches cooperative for blockchain services

The entrepreneurial initiative called BlockchainFUE has a collaborative, participatory, decentralized and with open vision

The BAES group at the University of Alicante, together with Fundeun, has launched a cooperative that will provide blockchain services, as reported by the newspaper Valencia Plaza.

The press release details that this business initiative “called BlockchainFUE, has been established under the Valencian cooperative formula” and its foundation is based on the fact that it is the best company “that fits in with the collaborative, participatory, decentralized and of open vision that govern both this project and the technology itself.”

According to Carmen Pastor, director of the BAES group and one of the promoters of this project from the University of Alicante, “the next steps from now on will be to keep the production of the network and develop the applications through which the partners have decided to participate; the infrastructure is ready.”

Entrepreneurs such as Javier Belarte, systems director for Grupo KH, positively value this initiative. According to his thesis the objective of the blockchain system in factories is fruitful because it demonstrates the “tracking of the process”.

The report specifies that in the  member companies that are affected by the pandemic the cooperative can generate great benefits because the adaptation of blockchain to the processes will speed up their recovery as far as possible.
