GMO launches new software to mine Zcash

The Japanese company announced the launch of the Cryptoknocker program to mine Zcash and other digital currencies based on Equihash

Zcash crypto mining has a new software recently released to the market by Japanese technology company GMO. Spokespeople for the firm said the software, called Cryptoknocker, was designed to mine this and other electronic currency based on Equihash.

Although users can download the program for free to computers composed with Nvidia graphics cards, GMO will retain two percent of the coins produced by the mine.

On the Zcash cryptocurrency, it is important to note that it ranks 21st in importance due to its market capitalization. Beyond the problems for mining due to the high consumption of electricity, the activity captivates more and more people in the world.

The Japanese company GMO has been consolidated among the main actors of the crypto ecosystem in recent years. In April 2018, it obtained a report of 900 bitcoins mined and 537 bitcoin cash. Recently announced the use of mining rigs with 7nm microchips, which will optimize the activity.
