First car sold out in cryptocurrencies in venezuela

Venezuela starred in the first sale of a car in cryptocurrency. The operation was carried out through the blockchain platform, OnixCoin.
The asset sold was a 2010 Jeep Cherokee, whose value amounted to 500,000 onixcoins. Each unit of this cryptoactive is equivalent to 0.65 bitcoins or its equivalent in currency, 7,000 dollars, according to the current price of this virtual currency.
The CEO of the Onix project, Ángel Salazar, pointed out that this is an “interesting” behavior given that “people are beginning to trade directly in cryptocurrencies and accepting them more and more as payment methods”.
